Hosta 'Angel Feathers'

Originated by Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts, this cultivar is a hybrid of a H. 'William Lachman' cross x an unnamed seedling. It was registered on Vaughn's behalf in 2009 by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar). A medium size (17 inches high by 35 inches wide) hosta, it has pale purple flowers in July. The foliage has a slightly rippled margin, is lightly corrugated and has good substance. Pale purple flowers bloom in July and set viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Increases rapidly. A colorful hosta with attractively shaped leaves...The leaf edge becomes flatter with maturity."
