Known as a burial ground for aristocrats,
this cemetery was opened in 1820 near the
Champs-Élysées. Large chestnut trees shade the gravesites and
the Eiffel Tower can be seen in the near distance. There is a
bas relief honoring the soldiers of World War I on one retaining
wall.
