this giant size (33 inches high by 60 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Komodo
Dragon'. It is a "frosty" greenish-blue (119C RHS Color
Chart) hosta with leaves that are slightly shiny on top, broadly ovate, slightly
convexly cupped and slightly corrugated with cuspidate tips. White flowers bloom
from June into July on scapes up to 44 inches tall followed by viable seeds.
The registration
materials state: "...Visually stunning with large
upright presentation...turns grayish olive green (NN137A) by late June." |
