A seedling of H. 'Donahue Piecrust', this cultivar was registered by
Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts in 2004. It is a large size hosta about 28 inches high by 6 feet wide
with slightly
corrugated, vase shaped
foliage with thick substance. The pale
lavender flowers bloom from late June.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "An impressive specimen for the woodland
garden...attractive regular, shallow piecrust leaf
edge."
