Registered by Jeroen Linneman
of the Netherlands in
2018,
this upright growing cultivar is a medium size (17
inches high by 16 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Tsuma Tajima' ×
H. pycnophylla. The leaves are medium green and
have yellow to white streaked variegation. They are
nearly round, slightly cupped, deeply wavy, very shiny
on top and have a glaucous bloom on the bottom. Pale
purple flowers bloom in October on scapes up to 24
inches tall followed by viable seeds in streaked pods.
The registration materials state: "...Nice
combination of both parents - streaked leaves with nice
white backs hold up well into autumn...green gets darker
and streaks turn pure white later in the season."
