 This upright growing,
large size (19 inches high by 15 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Captain Teach' ×
H. pycnophylla was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands in 2009.
It is slightly blue-green in color, broadly ovate,
deeply wavy and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers
bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 20 to 24
inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...A hosta with many pycnophylla characteristics
(white backs/purple petioles) but very good leave
substance and upright growing habit..."
