Hajime Sugita of
Japan originated this seedling of
H. kikutii caput-avis
and it was registered on his behalf by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in
2001. It is a medium size plant about 11 inches tall by
34 inches wide. The dark green foliage is very shiny,
moderately rippled and slightly corrugated. Lavender
flowers bloom from July into August.
