This seedling of H. 'Tsuma
Tajima' × a streaked form of H. 'Mikawa-no-Yuki' was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the
Netherlands in 2015. A medium size hosta, it
grows to about 12 inches in height with a width of
around 14 inches. The dark green foliage has a dark
yellow marginal variegation which turns to pure white
later in the summer.
Its leaves are lightly folded, slightly wavy, moderately twisted and very shiny on top
with thick substance. Pale lavender, tubular flowers
bloom from mid-August into September and it sets viable
seeds.
The
registration materials state: "...margin starts
dark yellow and turns to white during spring"
