A sport of H. 'Little Sunspot', this
cultivar which was registered in 2008
by A.
Birks and
Briggs
Nursery of Washington grows into a small size hosta about 8 inches in height and a spread of 12
inches. The leaves are ovate, slightly wavy, flat and dull on
top. Lavender, bell-shaped, fasciated flowers bloom from June
into July in Washington.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Does not enjoy direct sun in warmer climates and
needs plenty of water while it becomes established. A good
variety for containers and bowls."
