Charles Seaver of
Delaware registered this
hybrid of H. 'Komodo Dragon' in 1994. It forms a vase shaped
mound about 21 inches tall by 59 inches wide. The leaves become
a brighter gold color as the season progresses. The are ovate,
wavy and slightly corrugated. Its lavender flowers bloom from mid-June into July
on scapes up to 40 inches tall followed by viable seeds.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by

Grenfell (2009) states: "...the midrib and veins usually remaining
green...The scape is bent near the tip."
