This cultivar is the result of a cross of a Hosta clausa normalis F2 seedling x H. 'Strawberry Banana Smoothie'. It was registered by Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2011. The plant grows about 7 inches in height and a spread of 16 inches with foliage that is slightly wavy, slightly corrugated and nearly round with a rounded base. Its petioles are pink on both sides extending up into the leaf blade. The tubular flowers are borne on pink scapes from mid-July into August.
