This is another of the hybrids of
H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × H. hypoleuca which was registered
by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2001. It is a large size plant that grows to
27 inches tall with dark green foliage that is streaked with
yellow and has a yellow marginal variegation. Pale lavender
flowers bloom in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Emerges very early in spring and might require
protection from late frosts. Fast-growing and large enough for a woodland walk
or raised bed."
