Registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010, this
medium size (16 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a
sport of H. 'Paradise on Fire'.
It has dark green foliage that is ovate, moderately
cupped, slightly corrugated and slightly shiny on top.
Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on
scapes 20 to 30 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...shiny, dark green leaved version of H. 'Paradise on Fire'..."
