Originated by Andreas Kirschenlohr of Staudengärtnerei Kirschenlohr nursery in Germany, this non-registered cultivar is sport from H. 'Christmas Candy'. It appears to vary from the mother plant by having darker, blue-green margins with creamy white medial (center) variegation. It forms a medium size (18 inches high by 24 inches wide) mound and has a wider white center than H. 'Night before Christmas'. Lavender flowers bloom in July but do not bear seeds.
