This cultivar with
H. sieboldii
in its background was originated by
Russ O'Harra of
Iowa and registered on his behalf by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a small size plant about 7 inches high with
a spread of around 21 inches. The chartreuse to medium
gold colored leaves are narrowly ovate, wavy and have
thin substance. It bears deep purple flowers in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "One of the better simple yellow varieties that grows
well in the sun. Can be used as an edging plant or as a
groundcover in a woodland garden."
