
This hybrid of
H. venusta
x possibly H sieboldii
was registered by
Richard Lighty of Pennsylvania
in 1987. It forms a large size plant about 18 inches high with a
spread of around 47 inches with blue-green foliage. Pale
lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...may no longer exist."

There is also a cultivar
named H. 'Ichi-ban'
which in Japanese means Number One.
