A hybrid of H. 'Bravo', this
cultivar was registered by
Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 1996. The small
plant is about 6 inches high with a spread of 14 inches. It has
green, ovate to rounded, wavy leaves with creamy white marginal variegation. Medium
purple flowers bloom in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Best in morning sun. Neat habit makes it ideal for
the large container, alpine tray, and small raised bed." According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...shows many H. venusta traits."
