this cultivar is a small size (8 inches high by 9 inches
wide) seedling of an unnamed seedling of H. 'Hokkaido'.
The leaves are greenish-yellow and have red petioles.
They are ovate, slightly wavy and have a glaucous bloom
on top. Pale lavender flowers with near white margins
bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 14
inches tall. The
registration materials state: "...Leaves change
color from yellow-green to blue-green, and the petioles
change from red to purple...greenish-yellow color
changes to medium blue-green." |
