Originated in Japan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size hosta with
narrowly elliptic, dark green foliage that comes to a
point. The leaves are shiny with lightly rippled
margins. It forms a "beak-like" bract around the flower
buds and bears clusters of near white flowers with
purple anthers from late August into September. They
produce viable seeds. This is a hybrid of the species,
H. kikutii.
