Originated by
Dr. Doug Beilstein and
Mardy Beilstein of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as an open-pollinated seedling of an unnamed seedling of
[(H. 'Little Jim' x H. 'Green Sheen')
x Unknown] i.e. parents unidentified. It is a fast growing, miniature size (3.5 inches high by
7 inches wide) hosta with medium green foliage. The
lanceolate leaves are slightly folded, slightly wavy and
slightly shiny on top. It bears white, tubular shape
flowers from August thru September
and sets seed but their viability was not known at the
time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "This little shaver grows
quickly in a tight compact clump with long narrow leaves
on short petioles. Slightly folded and ruffled leaves
make this clump look like a pin cushion...few flowers
per each scape..."
