This hybrid of H. 'Green Wedge' (Shaw) × H. 'Chartreuse Wedge' was registered in 1978 by
Paul Aden of New York. It
forms a giant size (36 inches high by 48 inches wide) mound of foliage that is
blue-green when it emerges in the spring but quickly loses the
waxy bloom and become green by early summer. It bears near white
flowers that bloom from late June into July followed by viable
seeds.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...acts like a green 'Sum
and Substance'."
