A hybrid of two unnamed seedlings, this cultivar
was registered in 1998 by
Mary Chastain of
Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee.
The plant forms a miniature (5 inches high by 10 inches wide), dense mound
with narrowly ovate leaves that are moderately wavy with average
substance. Its medium purple flowers bloom in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Enjoys morning sun in cooler climates. Makes an
excellent addition to a small hosta collection."
