A cross between H. 'Little White
Lines' × an unnamed seedling, this plant was registered in 2000 by
Mary Chastain of
Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee.
This miniature size hosta grows to about 4 inches in height and 10
inches wide with moderately wavy, thin textured foliage. Medium
to bright purple flowers bloom in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Although an almost white cultivar, it thrives in
good light and does not easily burn. Provides excellent color contrast in any
bowl of mixed hosta varieties."
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states in its Miniature Hostas chapter: "Has less green
streaking than the parent."
