Registered by
Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in
2017,
this giant size (48 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a
fast growing, upright seedling of H. 'Komodo
Dragon'. The slightly blue-green foliage is nearly round
and slightly shiny on top. Near white flowers with a
very light hint of lavender at the base bloom from June
into July on scapes up to 40 inches tall The
registration materials state: "...Massive, nearly
round corrugated leaves that will lighten with sun
exposure, on a sturdy upright plant."
The
registration says that the plant is 48 inches tall but
the scapes are 30 to 40 inches high. That would mean
that the flowers bloom well below the top leaves...if
the form has the correct measurements entered.
