This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Hirao
Majesty' × H. 'Hirao Supreme' which was originated by
Van Sellers
of North Carolina and registered on his behalf by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2003. It is a large size plant about 21
inches high by 44 inches wide with bright green foliage.
The leaves are slightly rippled, moderately twisted,
moderately wavy and lightly corrugated with a shiny top.
Pale lavender, striped, tubular flowers bloom in Ohio in
August. It sets viable seeds. The upright form of this
large plant results in a arching effect for the clump.
