2005,
this cultivar is a sport of
H. 'Lemon Delight'.
It is a miniature size hosta about 41/2 inches high by 11 inches wide with light
green foliage. The lanceolate leaves are slightly twisted and slightly rippled.
Medium lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 15
inches tall.
The
registration materials state: "...small sized
clump, pointed lance leaf."
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Ideal as an edging plant and in raised beds." According
to the MyHosta Database website, this cultivar was "Found by Hamis Batten in a
plant of 'Lemon
Lime' he got from
Bowdens'."
