John Van Ostrand from Illinois originated this non-registered sport of H. 'Fort Knox'. It grows into a large size (24 inches high by 50 inches wide) hosta with chartreuse foliage that has a gold marginal variegation. The leaves are narrowly ovate to ovate and slightly wavy. It bears lavender flowers from mid-July into August.
