This large size (24 inches high) cultivar was
registered by
Dr. Jim and
Jill
Wilkins of Michigan in 1989 as a hybrid between H. 'Gold Regal' × H. 'Aspen Gold'. It has
slightly wavy leaves with little corrugation and
lavender, funnel shaped flowers borne on 30 inch scapes.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...improves on 'Gold Regal' by having
a brighter, lighter gold color."
