Originated by

Alley
in
2020,
this slow growing, medium size (18 inches high by 33
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Dorothy
Benedict' ×
H. 'Elatior'.
It has moderate green (N138A RHS
Colour Chart) foliage that has
a strong yellow green (143C RHS
Colour Chart) marginal
variegation. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly
cupped, moderately corrugated and dull on top. Near
white flowers with pale lavender stripes on the interior
bloom from June into July on scapes 18 to 20 inches tall
followed by viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Large upright
powdery blue leaves with chartreuse margins are nicely corrugated and held at
differing heights for optimal viewing...dull blue-green with bright chartreuse
margins early turn a slightly shiny moderate green with yellow-green margins
later."
One

stable sport of H. 'Chairman of the Board'. |
