This sport of H. 'Tambourine' was registered by
Ron Snyder of Minnesota in 1999. It is a medium
size hosta with greenish yellow leaves that have a white
marginal variegation. The foliage is moderately wavy,
ovate and slightly shiny on the bottom. Medium lavender
flowers bloom in July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...I realized that 'Harmonica' was not the
gold-centered version of 'Tambourine'. Instead, it
matches 'Sea Dream' in almost every mound, leaf, and flowering
characteristic."
