This tissue culture sport of H. 'Celebration' was originated by Mark Zilis of Illinois but registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 2002. The rhizomatous plant grows to a medium size around 18 inches in height with a spread of 33 inches. It has shiny, dark green leaves and bears medium purple flowers from late July into August.
