This cultivar is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Blue Suede Shoes' that was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009. The medium size mound grows to 18 inches in height and 48 inches in diameter. Its leaves are slightly corrugated, glaucous on both the top and bottom and are broadly ovate with a cordate base. The tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
