Originated by
Jan van den Top
of the Netherlands, this non-registered cultivar is a
tetraploid sport of H. 'Fragrant Queen'. It is a medium hosta with
blue-green foliage that has a light greenish yellow
medial (center) variegation i.e. the reversed form of
the mother plant. The broadly ovate leaves
come to a point at the tips. The white, very
fragrant, tubular shaped flowers bloom from mid-July
into August on scapes up to 29 inches tall.
