Originated
by
Mark Zilis of Illinois but registered by Jim Husemann of Iowa in
2016, this upright growing cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Lily
Pad' ×
H. 'Rosedale Dough
Boy'. It becomes a large size
hosta about 28 inches high by 48 inches wide with dark
green foliage.
The broadly ovate leaves are heavily
rippled, moderately twisted, wavy and very shiny on top.
Near white flowers with medium lavender stripes bloom
from mid-July into August on scapes up to 50 inches
tall. The registration
materials state: "Deeply veined, wavy-edged, very dark
green leaves held on tall petioles."
