Hosta 'Rosedale Dough Boy'
 

This is a hybrid of H. ventricosa x H. 'Invincible' was registered by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa in 1999 as part of his Rosedale Series. The medium to large size mound has neatly rippled foliage. The leaves are ovate with a twisted tip. They have deep veins with good substance. Its very pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.

Dough boys were American soldiers during World War I.
