This hosta was included on a list at the Hosta Library. It is a giant hosta of an H. 'Sieboldiana'-type with heavily corrugated, green foliage.

According to W. George Schmid in his Hosta Species Update (2007), this is an incorrect synonym for a double flowered white hosta. (H. plantaginea 'Flora Plena').
