Originated by Rod Lysne of Northern Grown Perennials in Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in 2021 as a seedling of an unnamed seedling of H. 'Lakeport Blue' × an unnamed seedling from Chet and Cynthia Tompkins i.e. parentage unidentified. It is a large size (25 inches high by 66 inches wide) hosta with dark green foliage. The nearly round leaves are heavily corrugated on some but relatively smooth on others. It bears near white, tubular shape flowers in July and sets viable seed.

According to the Registration materials: "Dark green glossy foliage of heavy substance.  Round in form. From the breeding lines of Chet and Cynthia Tompkins that include 'Lakeport Blue', 'Versailles Blue' and 'Blue Babe'."
