This cultivar was hybridized by
Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio and
Mark Zilis of Illinois from a cross of H. 'Glory' × H. 'King Tut'.
Zilis registered the hosta in 2009. The large size hosta grows
to about 18 inches in height with a spread of around 31 inches.
Its leaves are heavily corrugated, slightly rippled, moderately
cupped, broadly ovate, moderately wavy and dull on top. Pale
purple flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about
19 inches tall.
