 Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina registered this cultivar in 1996. It is the result of a cross
between H. 'Shining Tot' × H. venusta. Forming a miniature size (6 inches high) mound of smooth textured, non-wavy,
heart-shaped
foliage. Purple flowers bloom on 13 inch scapes in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Good light and plentiful water in a well-drained
soil will promote fast growth and good color, so
also an ideal plant for raised beds and rockeries."
