Registered by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1993, this is a cross between H. 'Banana Sundae' × H. 'Frances Williams'. The medium size (19 inches high) mound of narrowly ovate, wavy leaves bears white flowers in July.
 

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Simply put, 'Cascades' is stunning. the arching mound of white-centered foliage makes an ornamental impact wherever it is grown."
