this fast growing, large size (26 inches high by 52
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Rosedale
Dough Boy' ×
H. 'Korean Snow'.
It has broadly ovate, medium
green foliage that is slightly cupped, moderately
rippled, moderately corrugated and slightly shiny on
top. Medium lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into
August on scapes 28 to 34 inches tall. It sets seed but
their viability was not known at the time of
registration. The
registration materials state: "...Dense mass of
flowers with rare seed set atop a mound of deeply veined
leaves with piecrusted margins...holds med green color
all season...lightly cupped, wavy and corrugated overall
with deeply impressed veins...splash of white on
interior of each petal."
