in Minnesota in
2020,
this large size (20 inches high by 44 inches wide) cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Rotini'. It has medium blue-green
foliage with yellow marginal variegation which turns
white later in the season. The leaves are broadly ovate,
moderately corrugated, slightly rippled and glaucous on
top. Near white flowers bloom from June into July on
scapes 28 to 32 inches tall.
The registration materials state: "...Large clump
of medium blue green leaves with yellow turning white
margins and minor streaking where the two colors meet.
More vigorous and grows larger than its parent H.
'Rotini' due to having more blue green foliage...yellow
margins early turn white over the season." |
