This cultivar is a sport of a hybrid of H. 'Color Fantasy' × H. 'Sea Drift' from Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio which was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009.

It is a large size plant about 18 inches high by 30 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage that has yellow streaked variegation. The leaves are moderately corrugated, ovate and have a glaucous bloom on top. It bears tubular shaped flowers from June into July.
