This sport of H. 'American Angel' is a non-registered cultivar originated by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It is a large specimen reaching 31 inches in height and 6 feet wide with near white flowers starting in late June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...about half of the clump bore leaves with light gold centers, differing significantly from 'American Angel'."
