Alex Malloy of New York registered this hybrid
of H. 'Flamboyant' × H. 'Banana Sundae' in 2001. The leaves have
a thick underside bloom and grow to a height of 16 inches
forming a 35 inch wide mound. Medium lavender flowers appear in
July.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009), "...becomes a medium-large size mound
of gold-centered foliage that cannot be distinguished from 'Gold Standard' in midsummer."
