this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Brutus' ×
unnamed seedling of (Hosta montana macrophylla
× H. 'American Yeti'). It is a giant size hosta
about 40 inches high by 78 inches wide with medium green
foliage. The broadly ovate, slightly shiny leaves are
"relatively flat while moderately corrugated overall
with very visible veins and a twist to the tips". Medium
lavender flowers bloom from late June into July on
scapes up to 46 inches tall followed by viable seeds.
This is a sibling of H. 'Equoia'. The
registration materials state: "Stands above all
else in my garden. Upright form with flat, slightly
dimpled leaves that cover wide spaces. With outreaching
leaves it looks like a giant tree."
