This cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Riptide' × H. 'Blue Cadet' that was registered by Danny Van Eechaute from Belgium in 2005. A small to medium size plant, it has leaves with reddish petioles and a thick bloom on the underside. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into September.
