If it has an unusual name, odds are good that it comes from Tony Avent of Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina and this is no exception. 'Get Nekkid' is a hybrid of H. 'Elvis Lives' × H. 'Treasure Island' that he registered in 2006. The plant grows into a medium size hosta about a foot tall and 27 inches wide with spider-shaped lavender flowers starting in mid-July.

An article by W. George Schmid in The Hosta Journal (2009 Vol. 40 No. 3) states that, "...Tony Avent's Plant Delights Nursery offers a number of unusual hosta cultivars with even more unusual names, such as 'Get Nekkid', 'Banana Puddin' and 'Tattoo'..."
