Rounded shrub.
6 to 8 feet or more with a spread of 6 to 15 feet.
White to cream colored without fragrance. Borne on flat-topped cymes 2 to 4 inches in diameter.
May to early June.
Opposite, simple, suborbicular to ovate, 2 to 4 1/2” long, 1 to 4” wide. Dark green on top but glabrous on the bottom. Has 6 to 10 pairs of veins.
Glossy, reddish, autumn color
 
 
Blue to bluish black drupe.
 
Generally serviceable foliage plant since it grows well in almost any kind of soil
