Narrow, pyramidal canopy.
 
 
 
More or less in 2 ranks (rows), although set all around the stems, 1/4 to 3/4” long, 1/20 to 1/16” wide. Have broad, white bands on the bottom of the needles.
 
 
Stems are yellow-brown that change to dark red-brown that remain pubescent for 5 or 6 years.
Cones 3/4 to 1 inch long without stem (sessile) hanging from the branch tops.
